Almaree currently serves buyers and sellers in the United States. We're here to connect the desi community, one outfit at a time.
How does Almaree work?
Browse listings, find an item you love, and purchase it directly through the platform. Sellers ship the item to you, and once it arrives you'll have a review period to inspect it before the seller receives their payout.
For Buyers
How do I make an offer on an item?
Found something you love? Click "Make an Offer," propose a price, and wait for the seller to respond.
What payment methods are accepted?
We use Stripe for secure payment processing. You can pay with all major credit and debit cards.
Can I return an item?
Items are generally considered final sale. If an item arrives significantly different from its description, you can open a dispute through Almaree during the review period and our team will review the case.
When does the seller get paid?
After your item is delivered, you'll have a review period to inspect it. Once the review period ends, or you confirm everything looks good, the seller's payout is released.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information by email so you can stay updated on its journey.
For Sellers
How do I list an item?
Log into your account, click "Sell," and upload your item. Add photos, write an accurate description, and set your price. If this is your first listing, you'll be prompted to complete Stripe onboarding, which allows Almaree to securely transfer your earnings after a sale. Once onboarding is complete, your listing can be published and you're ready to start selling.
Why do I need to complete Stripe onboarding?
Stripe securely processes seller payouts on Almaree. During onboarding, Stripe may ask for information required to verify your identity and connect a payout method. This information is handled securely by Stripe and is required before you can receive earnings from your sales.
What does it cost to sell on Almaree?
Listing your items is free. When your item sells, Almaree deducts a 20% commission from the final sale price before releasing your payout.
How do I get paid?
After your item is delivered, the buyer will have a review period to inspect it. Once the review period ends, or the buyer confirms everything looks good, your earnings will be released to your Stripe account.
When do I need to ship my item?
Sellers are expected to ship sold items within 7 business days. Prompt shipping helps create a great experience for buyers and keeps transactions moving smoothly.
What shipping information should I include?
Provide accurate package dimensions and weight when creating your listing. This helps ensure shipping costs are calculated correctly and prevents delays after your item sells.

Who handles shipping?
Sellers handle shipping, but we've partnered with Shippo to provide easy, discounted shipping labels that can be printed directly from the platform.
How do I package my items?
Use secure and sturdy packaging within the dimensions you selected to help ensure your item arrives in great condition.
What if my order doesn’t arrive?
If a seller does not ship an item within 7 business days, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund. If the item has already shipped, use the tracking information provided to monitor its progress. If you experience an issue during transit, contact us and we'll help review the situation.
Privacy
Is my personal information safe?
Your privacy is important to us. We use industry-standard security measures to help protect your information, and sensitive payment details are securely processed through Stripe.
How can I reset my password?
If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email address.
Who owns the photos I upload to my listings?
You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By posting them on Almaree, you grant us permission to display and promote your listings on the platform and in marketing materials.
